  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  3. In an electric mixer bowl, blend room temperature butter and pumpkin puree until mixed. Add sugar, then eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until combined.
  5. For the crumb topping, combine cold butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until crumbs form.
  6. Layer half the batter in the prepared dish, sprinkle half of the crumb topping on top. Add remaining batter and finish with remaining crumbs.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
