  • 1/2 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 pound turkey sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  2. Season shrimp and chicken with Cajun seasoning. Sear chicken in olive oil until golden; set aside.
  3. Cook shrimp until pink; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook turkey sausage until browned.
  5. Sauté bell peppers and onion until softened; add garlic for one minute.
  6. Make a roux with butter and flour, then whisk in chicken broth and cream until smooth.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and remaining seasoning; let simmer until thickened.
