  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup milk
  • 56 ripe peaches, cut into 8 wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and melt cubed butter in a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Slowly add milk and vanilla; mix until just combined.
  3. Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup.
  4. Layer half of the peaches over the melted butter, pour batter on top without stirring, then add remaining peaches.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set.
  6. For maple butter, heat melted butter and maple syrup together; simmer for two minutes.
