Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup melted butter (for swirl)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until well mixed. Add eggs and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  3. Fold in flour and salt gently until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the swirl ingredients: brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  5. Spread the blondie batter into the prepared pan and drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture on top. Use a knife to swirl it through gently.
  6. Bake for about 25–30 minutes until golden edges form; check doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Let cool completely before icing made from cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
