  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup half and half (or whole milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 12 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  2. Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika; simmer for another minute.
  4. Add butter and beef broth; let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain but reserve some pasta water.
  6. Stir in half and half and Parmesan cheese into the skillet until smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
