  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper; sauté until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same skillet; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes (if using). Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and heavy cream; let simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Return cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet; toss until coated in sauce.
