Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak until browned on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. In a pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook rigatoni until al dente. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If desired, mix in mozzarella or Fontina cheese.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni and reserved pasta water into the sauce, then fold in seared steak tips.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
